Andrey completed the AcademX research program under the guidance of professors and experts in global energy. We helped him develop a solid methodology, conduct an in-depth analysis, and prepare a presentation for an international conference — an important step when applying to a top-tier master’s program.

Andrey studied how BRICS countries are transitioning to sustainable energy: reducing CO₂ emissions, increasing the share of renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency, and balancing economic risks.

He analyzed trends in the growth of renewables, the decline in coal consumption, and changes across key indicators of the energy “trilemma”: sustainability, accessibility, and security.

The study showed that BRICS states follow a pragmatic strategy: they develop clean energy while accounting for the economic consequences of a too-rapid shift away from traditional resources, aiming to avoid price spikes and pressure on industry.

Andrey presented the results of his research at an international conference in Vietnam, demonstrating the high quality of his analytical work.

Based on a strong research project and an international presentation, Andrey is applying to Stanford University (Master of Economics).
