As part of the AcademX program, Yaroslav worked on a research project under the guidance of experts in engineering and energy technologies. We helped him shape his topic, develop a methodological framework, conduct analytical work, and prepare a scientific paper that meets international academic standards.

Yaroslav explored how modern AI algorithms can improve the efficiency of energy systems — from load forecasting to optimizing the operation of power plants. He examined the potential benefits of these technologies, including cost reduction, increased system stability, and enhanced integration of renewable energy sources.

The study demonstrated that the use of AI can become a key driver in the modernization of the energy sector, accelerating the transition toward more sustainable and intelligent energy systems.

The research received acceptance letters from international peer-reviewed journals — a significant achievement for an engineering student.

Based on the prepared research project, Yaroslav is applying to University College London (Engineering) — one of the world’s leading institutions in the field of engineering.
